Black Russian Terrier (AKA Black Pearls of Russia) has a strong body and mind, and it was created by the Russian army around the 1930s. This breed is a well-muscled and large-boned dog with a powerful head and neck. They are people-oriented and want to be all-around their humans. This is a calm and confident breed, even though they are suspicious of strangers. They are very attached and protective of their pet family. They require lots of social and mental interactions as well as physical exercises. This breed is intelligent, easy to train, learns very fast, but tends to be stubborn if they are forced to do something they don’t want to. They can weigh 80 to 130 pounds and reach a height of 26 to 30 inches.
